VITBS Vellore Campus:

The VIT Business School is situated within the main campus perimeters of VIT Vellore.

The main VIT campus is located on the outskirts of Vellore. It is 130 km west of Chennai and 180 km east of Bangalore. The nearest airport is in Chennai, a two and a half hours drive from the campus. The Vellore Katpadi Junction is the nearest railway station and lies only 3 km away.

The Chennai-Bangalore railway line divides the campus into two. The academic area of the university along with the women’s hostels are located to the south of the tracks. The northern portion of the campus houses the men’s hostels along with the outdoor stadium. The different sections of the campus are connected by three subways.

The campus resembles a city, resplendent with wide roads, a lake, gardens, lawns, residential complexes, food courts and even hair salons. The campus has its own water supply and backup electricity supply along with shopping complexes to cater to the needs of residents.

There is a total of 23 hostels located on the VIT campus. Gym and swimming pool are available for health-conscious people. Students can opt for AC, for which separate individual meters are installed. Washing services are available as options.

The campus has recently witnessed the addition of a visitors’ lounge. Visiting parents and guardians can use the longe as well as the residential guest house facility. The well-maintained dining spaces in the hostels provide nutritious and healthy veg and non-veg food. For those wishing for a change in taste, a variety of food options are available.
