Udaybhansinhji Regional institute of Cooperative Management (URICM), Gandhinagar is named after Udaybhansinhji N. Jethwa, the Prince of Porbandar estate and Padma Shree awardee.
URICM is administrated by the National Council for Cooperative Training (NCCT), New Delhi which is autonomous society promoted by Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare, Govt. of India, New Delhi. Institute is in field of management education, cooperative training, research and consultancy.
PGDM (ABM) programme is designed to prepare agriculture and allied-agriculture graduates as professional managers to serve in agri-business and allied sector. The long duration training programmes are designed and conducted for various departments of Govt of Gujarat and cooperative organsations.
Apart from this institute organizes skilled based training programmes with Ministry of Defence, New Delhi for the JCOs/ORs of Armed Forces, Securities Exchange Board of India(SEBI), Mumbai and Warehouse Development and Regulation Authority, New Delhi.
