Admission Process for TCE Madurai 2022

Thiagarajar College of Engineering was founded in 1957 in Madurai, Tamil Nadu. The AICTE-approved college is a prestigious institution, having been ranked 56th among engineering colleges in India by NIRF and 34th by Outlook India. It has NAAC accreditation with an ‘A+’ grade, and its courses have NBA accreditation.

TCE has a faculty of 280 people, including 107 Ph.D. holders. The student-to-faculty ratio is 1:5. TCE’s faculty is knowledgeable, experienced, and supportive. The college also has a vibrant alumni community.

TEC has 31 specializations spread across seven courses. There are seven specializations under B. Tech, twelve specializations under M.Tech, and nine specializations under MS/Ph.D.

A candidate must have completed 10+2 in the Science stream in order to be admitted to B.Tech. They must attend TNEA counseling in order to be considered for selection.

To be considered for admission to M.Tech, a candidate must have a valid B.Tech degree. They must have a valid TANCET/GATE score card to be considered.

Candidates interested in applying for B.Arch must have a minimum of 50 percent in 10+2 and have studied Mathematics as a compulsory subject. In addition, they must achieve a NATA score of 80%.

A B.Arch degree is required for M.Arch admission. TANCET is used to make the selection.

A candidate for MCA must have completed graduation in the 10+2+3 pattern, with Mathematics as a compulsory subject in higher secondary school and either Mathematics or Statistics as a subject during undergraduate studies. TANCET will be used to make the selection.

How do I apply for the TNEA?

  • Fill out the TNEA registration form on the Anna University website.
  • There will be a fee, which must be paid online.
  • Fill out the application carefully. The candidate’s application will be rejected if the data is incorrect or incomplete.
  • Take a printout of the application form and send a copy to Anna University’s Director of Admissions.
  • After the merit list is announced, candidates must download the counseling call letter and visit the counseling venue with the required documents and a 5,000 INR demand draught.
  • After all, processes have been completed, the applicant will be given an allotment order. The counseling fee must be paid at this point.
  • To confirm their admission, the candidate must report to their college and submit the allotment order.

How Do I Apply to NATA?

  1. NATA’s official website can be found here.
  2. Navigate to Online Applications 2021.
  3. Fill in your personal information. The candidate will be assigned an eight-digit numeric application number. Following that, applicants must select a password and security question for future logins.
  4. Log in again with the application number and password, and upload images in the appropriate format.
  5. Include academic information.
  6. There will be a fee of 2,000 INR, which must be paid online.
  7. Keep a copy of the confirmation page for future use.

Admission to TCE M.Tech 2022

TCE is accepting applications for 12 M.Tech specializations. A candidate must have a B.Tech degree in the relevant field to be considered. They should also take the TANCET or the GATE for selection. The total number of students enrolled in the course is 251.

How do I apply for the GATE?

  • Go to the official website.
  • Register by entering the candidate’s name, email address, and mobile number into the link.
  • After submitting the form, an enrolment ID will be sent to the candidate’s mobile number.
  • Complete the application form.
  • There will be a fee of 1,500 INR (750 INR for women and reserved categories). It will be paid online.
  • Download the form and print a copy for future reference.

How do I apply for the TANCET?

  1. Visit the Anna University website.
  2. Select ‘TANCET 2021 Registration.’
  3. To generate an ID and password, enter your name, date of birth, email address, and password.
  4. Log in once more. Fill out the TANCET Application Form for 2021 this time. 1.31
  5. Upload a recent passport-sized color photograph.
  6. A fee of 600 INR (300 for Tamil Nadu SC/ST) will be charged, which can only be paid online.
  7. After submitting the form, make a note of the application number that is generated automatically.

Admission to TCE MCA 2022

TCE offers an MCA course to candidates who have completed a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50 percent marks in Mathematics as a compulsory subject in high school or Mathematics or Statistics as a subject in college. They must take the TANCET to be considered for selection.

Admission to TCE MS/Ph.D. 2022

TCE provides MS/Ph.D. admissions to qualified candidates who meet certain criteria. A candidate for MS must have a B.Tech degree in the relevant field. A candidate for a Ph.D. must have an M.Phil or M.Tech degree. Selection is based on merit.
