Scholarships

St. Xavier’s University Scholarship

Scholarships for the economically weak but meritorious students are provided by the university. Generally, the university offers two types of scholarships through which 100% and 50% fee is waived for eligible students. The details for the scholarships given by St. Xavier’s University are given below.

  • Loyola Scholarship and Rupa Scholarship (UG and PG) waive 100% fees for students with a monthly family income not more than INR 30,000. A minimum 60% score is mandatory in the 10th, 12th, and the last semester of the course enrolled for along with 75% attendance to apply for these scholarships.
  • Britto Scholarship (UG and PG) waives 50% fees for students with a monthly family income not more than INR 35,000. A minimum 60% score is mandatory in the 10th, 12th and the last semester of the course enrolled for along with 75% attendance to apply for this scholarship.
  • Nihil Ultra Scholarship (UG only) waives 100% fees for students with a minimum 95% score in the 10th and 12th and 75% score in the last semester of the course enrolled for along with 90% attendance to apply for this scholarship.
  • Fr. Beckers Scholarship (MBA only) waives 50% fees for students with a monthly family income not more than INR 50,000. A minimum 70% score is mandatory in the last semester of the course enrolled for along with 90% attendance to apply for this scholarship.
  • Snegam Scholarship and Deo Maheshwari Scholarship (MSW only) waive 100% fees for students with a monthly family income not more than INR 30,000. Minimum 75% attendance is mandatory to apply for these scholarships.

*Person with Disabilities (PwD) Category: Applicable for Students with disabilities 40% and above and have a valid certificate of disability as prescribed under rules issued by the competent authority. Disability is defined in “Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016”.

Additional Eligibility Criteria: The scholarship offered will be revoked if the candidate:

  • Fails to submit the necessary supporting documents relating to the scholarship. 
  • Has Arrear Papers in the first 3 semesters of the MBA degree program.
  • Doesn’t have a minimum of 85% attendance in the first 3 semesters of the MBA degree program / becomes attendance debarred in any semester. 
  • Has any record of disciplinary action against him/her in any of the preceding semesters by the disciplinary committee of the University. 

Note: If a candidate is eligible for a scholarship under multiple categories, then he/she will be granted the scholarship under only one category which has the highest amount of deduction.

Candidates need to visit the official website of SXUK and navigate to the scholarship section for details on eligibility and requirements. Notifications for applications to apply for the scholarship are only downloaded from the official website. Apart from the scholarships mentioned above, the option to apply for different local and national level scholarships for financial aid is available to the candidates.
