Results and Cutoffs

Shiv Nadar University, School of Engineering (Greater Noida) Results and Cutoffs 2025 (Expected)

Admission Routes

Shiv Nadar University (SNU) offers admission to B.Tech programs through multiple pathways:

  1. JEE Main Percentile + Interview

  2. SNUSAT + Academic Proficiency Test (APT) + Interview

  3. CUET

  4. SAT/ACT

Each path leads to the same seats, but selection criteria vary.

JEE Main Cutoff Trends (Expected for 2025)

Branch General Category Percentile SC/ST Category Percentile
Computer Science (CSE) 90–93 75–80
Information Technology 85–88 72–79
Electronics & Comm. (ECE) 86–90 70–75
Mechanical Engineering 80–83 65–70
Civil Engineering 75–78 60–65
Chemical Engineering 70–73 55–60

Note: For CSE, top applicants often have percentiles in the 92–94+ range to ensure a strong chance.

SNUSAT + APT Admission Path

If your JEE percentile is below 80, you must take:

  • SNUSAT: An online aptitude test (includes logic, English, math)

  • APT: Focuses on core subjects (Maths, Physics – JEE-like difficulty)

  • Followed by a personal interview

The SNUSAT + APT route is a viable path for students with strong fundamentals who didn’t score high in JEE.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Minimum marks in Class XII: 65% overall (70%+ preferred in PCM for CSE)

  • JEE Path: Direct admission if percentile is 80 or above

  • Below 80 percentile: Must take SNUSAT + APT + interview

Admission Timeline

  • Applications open: Nov–April

  • SNUSAT tests: March–June

  • JEE-based results: After JEE Main results

  • Interviews: Rolling basis

  • Final admission offer: Post-interview

Insights from Past Applicants

  • CSE is the most competitive; students with 93+ percentile often get in early.

  • Lower percentiles (70–80) can still get branches like Civil, Chemical, or Mechanical via SNUSAT.

  • SNUSAT APT is moderate in difficulty, with no negative marking—speed and accuracy are key.

Summary

  • For CSE, aim for JEE percentile above 90–93.

  • For other branches, a percentile of 75–88 can suffice.

  • If not using JEE or percentile is below 80, SNUSAT + APT + interview is required.

  • Keep a minimum of 65–70% in Class XII to be eligible.
