Scholarships

Sharda University Scholarship

Sharda University offers various scholarship programmes to the candidates who belong to the financially weaker section of the society. The university covers UG and PG level programmes under their scholarship. The university follows a few criteria aspects to allow candidates to enjoy the benefits of scholarship.

Under these criteria, it includes marks in the previous qualifying exams as well as an entrance exam. The University allows scholarship programme based on merit in the Sharda University Admission Test (SUAT) followed by a personal interview.

Based on the merit of the candidates, the scholarship programmes is granted to the candidates who pursue-

  • Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech and Integrated B.Tech) and the allowance is based on the percentage secured in the JEE examination
  • For MBA, MAT, CAT/XAT percentile along with the percentage in the last qualifying examination is considered
  • For Medical and Dental studies, marks of SSE or equivalent is considered
  • For PG programmes like M.Tech, M.Sc, M.A, MCA, M.Design, Master of Physiotherapy, marks of the last qualifying examination is considered
  • For Bachelor of Architecture, NATA score is considered
  • For integrated Law, marks scored in LSAT and CLAT is considered

The candidates can also get the following scholarship based on the criteria-

Sports category Scholarship: The candidates can get Sports Category Scholarship on the basis of their excellence in the sports activities. These programmes allow candidates to get 10% to 80% of concession on their tuition in the first year.

Naval/ Air Force/ Army/ Coastal Guard or CRPF Scholarship: The wards of the above services can get 5% of scholarship concession on their tuition fee for the first year.

Sibling Scholarship: These scholarship programmes can be allowed to the candidates whose sibling is pursuing any course in the university. Fee waiver of 5% shall be allotted in the first year. The candidate will have to show the proof of relation.

Others scholarship programmes are provided carrying around 5% to 20% concession on the basis of the result in the last qualifying examination.
