Eligibility Criteria

• A bachelor’s degree (minimum 3 years) in any discipline with at least 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA (55% or 6.0 CGPA for SC/ST/PwD candidates).

• Final-year students may apply provisionally, but they must submit proof of passing with required marks within six weeks of joining.

• A valid CAT score is mandatory. Some years may consider other national-level tests like CMAT or MAT for sponsored categories.

Selection Process

• Shortlisting is based on CAT scores, academic background, and work experience (if applicable).

• Shortlisted candidates are invited for GD and PI rounds.

• Final selection is based on a composite score including entrance test score, academic performance, work experience, GD, and PI performance.

• Program: Master of Business Administration (MBA)

• Duration: 2 Years (Full-Time)

• Total Intake: 77 Seats (including all reservation categories)

Application Process & Fees

• Applications are submitted online through the institute’s admission portal.

• After filling and submitting the form online, candidates must download the PDF, sign it, and send it via post along with required documents.

• Application Fee:

  • ₹1,200 for General/OBC candidates

  • ₹600 for SC/ST/PwD candidates

Important Notes

• Candidates applying under the Sponsored category must submit a sponsorship certificate from their employer.

• The MBA program follows Government of India norms for reservations (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD).

• IIMs have no role in the selection or conduct of the MBA program at SMS, MNNIT.
