Sagi Ramakrishnam Raju Engineering College was established in the year 1980. It was first affiliated to the Andhra University though presently it is affiliated to the Jawaharlal Nehru Technical University. It is one of the top engineering colleges in Andhra Pradesh located in Bhimavaram.
The institution is approved by both AICTE and UGC. SRKR Engineering College offers six undergraduate courses, seven postgraduate courses and five doctoral courses in various disciplines of engineering.
For getting admission in B.Tech courses, the student must pass 10+2 from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, as well as the candidate, must be residing in Andhra Pradesh or Telangana. The students must also appear for AP-EAMCET exam and must score more than the college cut-off.
For admission in M.Tech courses, the candidate must complete the B.Tech/B.E. course in any relevant stream and from a recognised university. The students need to also sit for AP-PGECET exam or GATE exam. For PhD courses, the candidate must score 50% aggregate in the Master’s programme in any relevant discipline.
