Facilities at PSG College of Technology
PSGCT offers a range of facilities that cater to the needs of both students and faculty members. These include:
Library: The college library boasts an extensive collection of over 200,000 volumes covering various disciplines such as Science, Engineering, Management, and more. Additionally, an E-Library is available for accessing journals and subscriptions, offering access to over 15,000 journals from esteemed publishers like ASME, ASCE, IEEE, ASTM, and others.
Computer & Network: The campus provides high-speed internet connectivity with a bandwidth of 1300 Mbps. There are 4500 computer systems available, with 3500 LAN connections and 500 WAN connections. The Media Laboratory is equipped with iMac machines for specialised purposes.
Sports Facilities: PSGCT offers both outdoor and indoor sports facilities to promote physical fitness and recreational activities. The outdoor facilities include grounds for football, hockey, cricket, volleyball, and tennis. Indoor facilities comprise of table tennis, badminton, and basketball courts.
Extracurricular Activities: The college encourages students to engage in various extracurricular activities through a wide range of student clubs. With over 20 clubs to choose from, students can participate in activities such as Dramatics, Animal Welfare, Astronomy, Serious Quizzers, English Literary Society, Entrepreneurship, Readers Club, and more.
