PSIT Kanpur Admission 2023

Established in 2004, Pranveer Singh Institute of Technology is an unaided private institute situated in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. It is affiliated with both AICTE and APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow (APJAKTU).

At present, PSIT Kanpur offers 5 UG courses and 4 PG courses. PSIT is internally divided into PSITche – PSIT College of higher education and PSITcoe – PSIT College of Engineering.

PSIT is generally confined to courses namely B.Tech, B.Pharm, MCA, MBA, M.Tech and M.Pharm whereas PSITche offers only 2 courses namely BBA and BCA.
The selections process differs for various UG/PG courses at PSIT and the shortlisted candidates may have to face an interview round or aptitude test before final selection.
PSIT reserves 85% of the seats for the candidates securing high ranks in UPSEE – State Entrance Test.
Lateral entry admissions are also offered for UG courses, provided the candidate must have undergone diploma course in the corresponding stream.

PSIT Kanpur BBA, BCA, BA LLB and B.Pharm Admission 2023

Various UG courses offered at PSIT are BBA, BCA and B.Pharm. To get admitted to any of these courses, candidates must have obtained 60% in 10+2 with mandatory subjects. For Admissions to B. Pharm, PCM/PCB is compulsory at 10+2.

For UG professional courses, PSIT is affiliated to Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur.

The institute offers B.Tech in 6 specializations. To be eligible, the candidates must have done 10+2 from a recognized board attaining 60% and above with mandatory subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

B.Tech admissions are based on the rank of the candidates in JEE and UPSEE score.

Note:

Those candidates applying for B.Tech program will have to undergo an aptitude test of 30 minutes that will highlight the technical knowledge of candidates and their eligibility for that particular stream.

PSIT Kanpur MCA, MBA and M.Pharm Admission 2023

PSIT offers MBA in 5 specializations, M.Pharm in 2 specializations along with a MCA program at the PG level.

For PG admissions, the candidates must have completed Graduation in the corresponding field with a minimum of 60 percentile. MBA Admissions are based on the rank of the candidate in UPSEE MBA test followed by GD and PI.

Key Points:

For MBA admissions, PSIT also conducts group discussion and personal interview for the shortlisted candidates as the second and third round respectively. The applicant must clear all three to get admitted to MBA program.
Personal Interview round will also be conducted for the MCA applicants provided they fall in the eligibility criteria that is 60% and above in 10th, 12th and BCA/B.Sci.
For lateral entry admissions to MCA program, candidates should at least hold Diploma in BCA/B.Sc (CS/IT) with minimum 60 percentile.

PSIT Kanpur M.Tech Admission 2023

PSIT offers M.Tech in only two and admissions is based on the rank obtained by the candidate in UPSEE/GATE.

For M.Tech degree from PSIT, Kanpur the candidate must hold B.Tech/B.E degree from any government or private institute affiliated to AICTE. The candidate must have obtained minimum 60% in B.Tech/B.E.

PSIT Kanpur Application Process 2023

Candidates can apply online or offline for admissions to UG/PG courses at Pranveer Singh Institute of Technology according to their convenience.

Online Mode: Applicants can apply directly through the application form available at the official website of PSIT. They need to fill in all the mandatory details such as marks obtained in 10 and 12 class, other educational details and type, of course, they want to apply for and also they need to mention personal details such as name, contact number and email id.

After completing the registration, the query will be directed to admission cell. The admission counselor will call you for further process.

Offline Mode: Candidates need to visit the PSIT campus at Kanpur to apply for any UG/PG course before the last date of registration. They have to visit the campus with the original documents and need to fill in the application form with all the necessary details and provide all the documents required.
