Plaksha University Programmes offered 

Presently, Plaksha University will be taking students into their BTech programmes. The first batch will be commencing classes from August 2021. Post-graduation courses and programmes will also be offered. Other than that, the university has been offering Tech Leaders Fellowship programmes at PG level. Apart from this, the university has been offering Young Tech Scholars summer programmes to students in different disciplines.

Presently, the university has been offering three distinct courses to students from different corners of the country. The programmes have been listed below.

  • A four-year UG BTech programme in four specialisation disciplines
  • A PG Tech Leaders Fellowship Programme
  • A two-week residential Young Tech Scholars (YTS) summer programme for students of Class 9 to class 11

Other than the above-mentioned programmes, here is a glimpse at the unique features of programmes offered by the university presently.

  • The two-week residential Young Tech Scholars (YTS) summer programmes offered to students of class 9 to class 11 has been primarily designed by academicians and faculty member of some notable universities around the world. Some of these educational institutes include universities like HBS, UC Berkeley, IITs, IIMs and Stanford.
  • The BTech programme offered by the university has been specifically designed to offer learning of Artificial intelligence along with traditional engineering and BTech knowledge. Since AI is presently in high demand, therefore, the university has been making the students fit for the industrial sectors.
  • The PG Tech Leaders Fellowship programmes offered by the university is also the first of its kind course. The programme curriculum lays a key focus on Machine learning and Artificial Intelligence.

Eligibility Criteria 

The eligibility criteria for the programmes offered presently differ from one another.

The eligibility criteria for different programmes are mentioned herewith.

  1. Course- BTech

Discipline- Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence (CS and AI)

Robotics and Cyber-Physical System

Biological Systems Engineering

Data Science, Economics and Business

Eligibility Criteria- For seeking admission into BTech courses offered by the university, the student must possess at least 75 per cent aggregate or more in Class 12. In case, the students are appearing for examination later in the year; provisional admission is offered.

For BTech in CS and AI and Data Science, Economics and Business, students must have mathematics as one of their main subjects in class 12. Similarly, for seeking admission in Robotics and Cyber-Physical Systems and Biological Systems Engineering, students must have physics and mathematics as main subjects in class 12.

  1. Course- Tech Leaders Fellowship Programme 

Eligibility Criteria- for seeking admission into the TLF programmes, the student must be a recent graduate, a working professional or entrepreneur. Having relevant work experience is necessary. Apart from these certain technical prerequisites are also essential.

The student must possess a basic understanding of coding, programming and must have experience in at least one of the high-level languages, such as C++, R, JAVA, Python, C, etc.

Aspirants must possess a strong understanding of mathematical concepts like Linear and Statistics Algebra, Probability, etc. among others.

  1. Course- Young Technology Scholars

This programme has been opened to students in Class 9 to class 11. There are no specific criteria for admission. No minimum grades are required.
