1. Nationality: Applicants must be either Resident or Non-Resident Indians (NRI), or holders of a PIO (Person of Indian Origin) or OCI (Overseas Citizen of India) card issued by the Government of India to be eligible for the admission process.

2. Academic Eligibility:

For Indian Students: Candidates must have secured a minimum aggregate of 60% marks or an equivalent grade point in Class X, Class XII, and undergraduate (UG) degree.

Admission Criteria

Eligibility Criteria for BBA – SRM University-AP

A. Nationality and Age Requirements

Candidates eligible to apply include:

• Indian citizens (residents), Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), and holders of PIO or OCI cards issued by the Government of India.

• Applicants must be at least 16 years and 6 months of age as of July 31 of the calendar year in which the Class 12 board examination is held.

B. Academic Eligibility

Applicants must meet the following academic requirements:

• A minimum aggregate of 60% or equivalent grade point in Class 10.

• A minimum aggregate of 60% or equivalent grade point in Class 12 / Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) / Intermediate (Years 1 & 2) from any Indian board recognized by the Council of Boards of School Education in India (COBSE) (e.g., CBSE, CISCE, or other COBSE-recognized state boards).

  • Alternatively, applicants may present:

    • A minimum grade of ‘C’ in the GCE A-level examination, or

    • A minimum overall score of 24 points in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma or Certificate.

• Candidates appearing for their final 12th grade or equivalent exams in the current academic year are also eligible to apply. However, final admission will be granted only upon meeting the minimum aggregate requirement of 60%.

• For students from NIOS, either the 10th or 12th grade must have been completed through regular schooling.

• In the case of the Andhra Pradesh Board of Intermediate Education, the average of both years (First and Second) is considered.

C. Admission Process

• Admission will be granted based on the fulfillment of eligibility criteria and performance in the interview conducted by SRM University-AP.

• All admission decisions made by the Admissions Committee are final and binding.

D. Important Admission Guidelines

• The list of BBA/BBA (Hons) specializations published on the university website is indicative. The university reserves the right to modify, add, or remove programmes depending on feasibility.

• Admission is strictly based on performance in the entrance test and/or interview conducted by SRM University-AP.

• Shortlisting for the test/interview does not guarantee admission. It is the applicant’s responsibility to ensure they meet all eligibility requirements.
