Campus Infrastructure

• The institute is spread over a 15-acre campus located within the BTPS Complex, Badarpur, New Delhi.

• It includes academic blocks, hostels, a guest house, staff quarters, and a fully functional cafeteria.

• The campus also houses auditoriums with seating capacities ranging from 100 to 260 seats and conference halls equipped with modern audio-visual and video conferencing systems.

Academic Facilities

• Air-conditioned Classrooms: Equipped with projectors and digital teaching aids.

• Laboratories: Specialised labs for Electrical Machines, Power System Protection, Microprocessors, Chemistry, Fluid Mechanics, and more.

• Library: A rich collection of technical books, journals, training manuals, and audio-visual materials. MBA and PGDC students are also provided textbooks to reduce academic expenses.

Training & Simulation Facilities

• State-of-the-art simulators for:

  • Thermal Power Plants (210 MW, 500 MW, 800 MW)

  • Combined Cycle Gas Turbines (430 MW, 550 MW)

  • Hydro Power Plants (250 MW)

  • Smart Grid and SCADA systems

• Functional and non-functional equipment such as turbines, relays, circuit breakers, and boiler models are used for hands-on training.

Hostels & Accommodation

• Residential hostels for both male and female students with sufficient capacity to accommodate over 400+ trainees.

• Separate Executive Trainee Hostels and Girls’ Hostel available.

• Guest House provided for visiting faculty and industry professionals.
