NPTI, Nagpur Admission 2018:

  • NPTI-Nagpur offers four-year B.Tech course in Power Engineering (PE)and a 26 weeks Post Graduate Diploma course in Transmission and Distribution(PGD T&D) Systems.
  • Candidates who have passed HSC or 10+2 from any recognised board or university are eligible to apply for B.Tech (PE).
  • For admission to B.Tech course, candidates have to apply for MHT-CET.
  • For B.Tech, JEE Main scorecard is also accepted for admission.
  • For PG diploma course, candidates should have done B.Tech in a relevant discipline.
  • Selection to PG diploma course is by merit of the degree of B.Tech or equivalent exam.

NPTI Nagpur B.Tech Admission 2018

National Power Training Institute offers four -year B.Tech course in Power Engineering specialization.

In order to be eligible for admission candidates applying should have passed 10+2 from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects with at least 50% marks.

Admission is done on the basis of marks obtained by the candidate in MHT-CET conducted by DTE or valid JEE Main score card conducted by CBSE. There is no age limit for appearing in MHT- CET.

All the admissions for the first year are done through Centralised Admission Process (CAP) of DTE.

Other state candidates including J & K candidates, will be allotted seats on the basis of JEE Main scorecard only.
