National Institute of Fashion Technology Raebareli offers both degree and certificate courses in the Undergraduate and Postgraduate level. In the UG programme, the institute offers specialization in Fashion Design, Leather Design, Accessory Design and Fashion Communication while at the PG level, it offers Masters in Fashion Management.

NIFT admission is done on the basis of cutoff, which depends on various factors like the number of seats, the total number of students, results, etc. To secure admission in the institute, the candidate will have to appear for the NIFT entrance examination and counselling round. The candidates who qualify NIFT cutoff will be allowed to get admission in the institute.

On the basis of NIFT result or merit, students are allowed to take admission in the institute. In 2018, the closing cutoff for the General category candidates was 1766 in the Fashion Design specialisation of B.Des. For SC class, the closing was relaxed to 4548 and for ST category, it was 6404. OBC gets 3261 cutoff closing. Similarly, in B.Des in Accessory Design, the closing was 1960 for the General category and for OBC it was 4454 while SC had 6111 ranks.
