NIFT Hyderabad Admission Process

There are different requirements and NIFT Hyderabad admission processes for different category students, the NRI students have a different selection scheme as compared to the non-NRI.

The non-NRI students have to sit for a written exam comprising of Creative Ability Test (CAT) and General Ability Test (GAT) which will further decide the fate of the student in the institute. 

• NRI students will be selected on the basis of their SAT/GMAT/GRE scores instead of the written exams.
• There is no age limit for admission into PG programmes.

NIFT aims to provide full placement assistance to the graduated and products of the institutes. There are two types of NIFT Hyderabad placements methods carried out in NIFT Hyderabad along with other NIFTs. 

The interested companies approach the institute and once NIFT accepts and schedules a date and time for the placement process the company comes to campus and then the placement procedures are carried out.

Pre-Placement offers: Under this method, the company offers jobs to students before the on-campus placement and acceptance of the said offer is considered as the job placement. The cut-off marks are announced by NIFT Hyderabad after the main exam results are declared. Different cut-off marks are set for different particular courses. It is the factor that decides the applicant's fate in the institute. The candidate's marks obtained in the qualifying exam must be or cross the determined cut-off marks for that particular course in order to get a chance at admission into the institute.
