Merit & Institute Scholarships

Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship for B.Tech
Awarded to the top 10% of B.Tech students. In the first year, selection is based on JEE Main rank; for subsequent years, selection depends on CPI. The scholarship amount is ₹3,000 per month.
Government & Central Scholarships

Uttar Pradesh Post-Matric Scholarship
Offered to eligible students from Uttar Pradesh under various categories (SC/ST/OBC/General with low income). -
National Scholarship Portal (NSP)
Students can apply for central and state-level schemes including scholarships for SC/ST, minorities, PwD, and economically weaker sections.
Institute-Level Financial Aid

Financial Assistance for Economically Weaker Students (EWS)
Students with a family income below ₹1 lakh per annum who are not availing any other scholarships are eligible. The institute distributes around ₹10 lakhs every year based on merit and need. -
O.P. JEMS Scholarship
Selected students are awarded up to ₹80,000 based on performance in a written test and interview conducted by the institute.
Postgraduate Fellowships & Stipends

M.Tech Stipend
M.Tech students receiving admission through GATE are eligible for a stipend of ₹12,400 per month as per MHRD norms. -
Ph.D Fellowship
Ph.D scholars receive ₹25,000 per month for the first two years, which increases to ₹28,000 per month for the next three years, subject to academic performance.

Available to out-of-state students through their respective state government schemes. -
Employer-Funded Scholarships
Students whose parents are employed in certain organisations may receive scholarships funded by those employers. -
Corporate & Institutional Scholarships
Scholarships from private organisations and foundations are occasionally offered and notified via the Dean (Student Welfare) office. -
Alumni Association Financial Aid
The MNNIT Alumni Association also provides financial support to needy students. In recent years, over ₹7 lakhs have been disbursed to EWS students to cover tuition and mess charges.
