Meghnad Desai Academy of Economics Mumbai admission is done based on the marks obtained in the Entrance examination, conducted by the institute followed by a selection process. However, all candidates must meet the eligibility criteria to be eligible to apply for their preferred courses. Besides, it offers a Summer School Programme in Quantitative Methods.

For the summer programme, students pursuing a second or third year of graduation can apply but they should have secured at least 50% marks in their 12th standard. • For admission to the Postgraduate level Postgraduate Diploma in Economics course, candidates need to appear for an entrance examination, conducted by the institute. After that, based on the marks scored in the entrance examination candidates are shortlisted for a personal interview, which is conducted by a panel consisting of faculty members as well as academic board members of the institute. All applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks to be eligible to apply for the course.
• For admission to the postgraduate level certificate in Data Analytics course, candidates are shortlisted based on their CV or resume and SOP. Then the shortlisted candidates are required to appear for an online Quantitative Techniques Test followed by a Panel Interview round. All applicants must have a Graduation certificate in Statistics or Engineering or Mathematics from any recognised university to be eligible to apply for the course.
