MANIT Bhopal Campus Life 

Situated in the heart of Bhopal, the capital city of Madhya Pradesh, the institute spans an expansive 650 acres. Formerly known as Maulana Azad College of Technology, it was established as one of the nation’s initial eight Regional Engineering Colleges (RECs). Recognized as an “Institution of National Importance” under the Parliamentary NITSER Act of 2007, it attained the status of a Deemed University in June 2002, along with its new name, Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology Bhopal.

MANIT Bhopal campus offers a picturesque and well-equipped campus with various facilities for academic and extracurricular activities. The MANIT Bhopal campus boasts comprehensive facilities, including residential quarters for faculty and staff, administrative buildings, workshops, an energy center, a computer center, a library, and a learning resource center. Accommodating 4,000 boys and 1,150 girls, the hostels at MANIT provide housing for both male and female students.

Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology Bhopal established the Incubation Center to cultivate an atmosphere conducive to startup ventures and to promote an innovation-centric entrepreneurial ethos. Additionally, the MANIT Bhopal campus offers a range of general amenities such as a post office, bank, shopping center, children’s school, dispensary, auditorium, guest house, sports complex, playgrounds, and a scenic lake.
