Manav Rachna University (MRU) was founded in 2004 and stands as the flagship institution of Manav Rachna Educational Institutions (MREI). Manav Rachna University accepts applications through online mode. Selection for the Ph.D. program is based on a written test conducted by the university. However, applicants who have qualified UGC NET (including JRF) or UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF) or SLET or GATE or M. Phil. are exempted from the written test when applying for Ph.D.

Final selection for admission to all other courses is based on merit.

Manav Rachna University provides M.Tech, M.Sc, and LL.M programs lasting two years, covering diverse specialisations at the postgraduate level.

Manav Rachna University Application Process 2024

Manav Rachna University is accepting online applications for admission to its various programs. Applicants can apply online by visiting the official website or by obtaining the Admission Brochure from Manav Rachna Campus, Administrative Headquarters, or City Centers. Alternatively, candidates can download the application form from the official website.

The admission brochure includes a Scratch Card containing a covered number, which will facilitate the online submission of the application form.

To apply online, candidates should follow these steps:

  1. Click on the ‘Apply Now’ button on the Manav Rachna website homepage.
  2. Have a Digitized Photograph ready on your Computer Desktop for uploading, with a maximum size of 80 KB and dimensions of 30mm x 45mm, in a formal dress against a plain background.
  3. Keep scanned copies of Secondary (10th), Senior Secondary (10+2) Examination, and any other qualifying exam, if applicable.
  4. Fill in all fields with accurate information.
  5. Take two printouts of the final version of the online application form, which must be brought during physical counseling for admission.
  6. Pay the application fee of INR 1200 using Net Banking, Credit/Debit card, or E-wallets at the time of submitting the application.
  7. Candidates are required to appear in person for physical counseling for admission before the Admission Committee. 

Candidates are required to bring the following original documents along with two sets of attested photocopies:

Manav Rachna University Reservation Criteria

Manav Rachna University currently adheres to the following reservation policy:

  • 15% of seats are allocated for NRI/Foreign National and PIO candidates across all programs and courses.
  • Within the remaining 85% of seats:
    • 25% are reserved for Haryana domicile students, with 10% specifically allotted for SC candidates from Haryana.
  • Additionally, one seat in the merit quota for each program is reserved for Kashmiri Migrants.
