MIT Pune Scholarships

MIT Pune scholarships are provided to the students who are meritorious but cannot afford the education fees due to financial problems in the family. These financial aids help the students realise their goal of higher education and push them to carry on learning. The institute also offers scholarships based only on merit. 

Scholarship 1:  In this scholarship, fee concessions are provided according to the merit of the students. If the students score more than 95% in JEE Main exam and in HS exam, 100% of their fees are discounted. Similarly, if the candidate scores from 92-95%, 50% of their fees are discounted. This scholarship is only available to the B.tech first year students. 

Scholarship 2: This scholarship is based on the performance of sports by the candidate. It is awarded to any student who plays and wins in any national or international event, while they are representing the institution. Students performing in any government sponsored private clubs or any event of national importance are eligible for the scholarship. 80%, 90% and 100% fee concession are provided to the student winning bronze, silver and gold respectively.

Scholarship 3: This scholarship is provided for the children of the staff of the institution. The faculty or staff in question should be an employee of at least three years. The candidate should have an aggregate of 60% throughout their academic year. The scholarship discount depends on the income of the employee. More concession is given if the employee receives an income of less than one lakh per year.
