Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology Delhi, popularly known as MAIT is one of the best private engineering colleges located in New Delhi. It was established in 1999. The college is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi.

The institute offers several programmes at the Undergraduate and Postgraduate level of study with multiple numbers of specializations.

Students seek admission to the Undergraduate level B.Tech programme are required to appear in the Joint Entrance Examination or JEE examination, which is conducted for admission to various engineering colleges as well as courses all over the country.

Hence, MAIT cutoff is declared after JEE results are released. The institute runs a common entrance test or CET in order to make the selection for in B.Tech programme.

However, all candidates are selected based on the performance in CET examination followed by the marks obtained in JEE by them. The college takes admission in the MBA programme on the basis of marks scored in CAT examination.

MAIT Delhi cut off can vary from year to year based on a number of factors such as a total number of candidates appearing for the examination, the total number of seats available for admission in the exam participating colleges, the average performance of the candidates appearing for the examination, the difficulty level of the question paper, reservation policies in participating colleges, previous year cutoff trends, the total number of applicants who have applied for the exam etc.
