Indira School of Business Studies (ISBS) was established to cater to the growing needs of the business sector. ISBS offers an AICTE-approved PGDM program.
The PGDM program in General Management offers specializations in Marketing, Finance, and Human Resources Management.
The PGDM program is a 2-year full-time course approved by AICTE.
Selection for the PGDM program is based on admission test scores, past academic performance, GD-PI (Group Discussion and Personal Interview), and extracurricular achievements.

ISBS Pune offers two years full time post graduate diploma in management in General management and core Marketing Management.

ISBS Pune PGDM Eligibility

PGDM Applicants should have valid CAT/XAT/MAT/AICTE-CMAT/ATMA/GMAT/MAH-CET score, with 50% aggregate marks during graduation

Candidates belonging to backward classes are eligible for admission with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks in their graduation.
Final year undergraduate students can also apply, provided they submit a certificate from their institute/university confirming the status of their pending results.

ISBS Pune PGDM Selection Criteria:

Shortlisting of candidates for GD, PI, and counseling rounds is conducted through the ICAP (Indira Common Admission Process).

Shortlisted candidates will be called to the centers chosen during registration for GD and PI.

Shortlisting is based on admission test scores and past academic performance.

Candidates need to carry the following documents when they arrive for GD and PI rounds at the venue:

  1. 10th and 12th Mark sheets and certificates
  2. Graduation Mark sheet and Degree Certificate
  3. Caste Certificate (if applicable)
  4. Entrance Test Scorecard (CAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA/CMAT/MH-CET)
  5. Aadhar Card and Passport Size photo
  6. Passport (if available)

Note: Detailed information about ICAP venues, reporting date and time, and other related details will be communicated to the applicants in March through the ISBS website (https://www.indiraisbs.ac.in/).

The merit list will be determined based on the following parameters and their respective weightages:

  1. Admission test score – 35%
  2. GD and PI performance – 45%
  3. Academic Performance – 15%
  4. Extra-curricular activities, Academic Diversity, and Gender Diversity – 5%

Total weightage – 100%

The merit list will be accessible on the official website as well as at the institute’s campus. Once candidates are selected, they should adhere to the admission instructions and proceed to make the course fee payment to confirm their admission.

ISBS Pune PGDM How to Apply?

To apply online, follow these steps:

  1. Complete the online application form (ICAP form).
  2. Generate a login ID and password for the online application form on the website provided.
  3. Enter your personal information, educational background, and work experience.
  4. Input your CAT/XAT/MAT/CMAT/ATMA/GMAT/MAH-CET score.
  5. Upload the scorecard and a scanned copy of your caste certificate (if applicable).
  6. If you are uploading your CAT score, enter your CAT registration number.
  7. Upload a scanned passport-size photograph and your signature.
  8. Select your preferred GD and PI center from the available options.
  9. Make the online application fee payment through the ‘Make Payment’ tab. The ICAP application fee is INR 700.
  10. Click on ‘Save’ to save your information.
  11. Once you have completed the application, make a note of your login credentials and retain a hard copy of your application for future reference.

Ques. Which course is better, PGDM or MBA?

Ans. Both PGDM and MBA courses are management programs, and they are similar in nature. At ISBS, for our PGDM Course, we focus on providing practical exposure through various initiatives like internships, Career Development Programs, Industrial Visits, Projects, Assignments, Case Studies, etc., in various specializations such as Marketing, Finance, and HR.

Ques. Who is eligible for a PGDM Course?

Ans. To be eligible for an AICTE approved PGDM program, candidates must meet two key criteria:

Candidates must have completed their graduation with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% for reserved categories).

Candidates must have appeared for one of the specified entrance tests as recognized by AICTE, which include CAT, MAT, CMAT, MH-CET (for Maharashtra colleges), ATMA, and XAT.
Students who are in the final year of their graduation and have taken the entrance test are also eligible, but they must provide their graduation mark sheets by August 15th.

Ques. How can I secure admission in the PGDM program at ISBS?

Ans. To secure admission in the PGDM program at ISBS, candidates should follow these steps:

  1. Candidates must appear for one of the specified All India Entrance Exams, which include CAT, MAT, CMAT, MH-CET (for Maharashtra colleges), ATMA, or XAT (any one).

Ans. The average salary package is 5 LPA, and the highest package can go up to 14 LPA. 

Ques. Does the college offer any education loan facility or scholarships for students?

Ans. No, ISBS Pune does not provide any education loan facility or scholarships for students.

Ques. What are the documents that need to be submitted at the time of admission?

Ans. Students are required to submit the following documents: 10th and 12th Mark sheets, semester-wise graduation mark-sheets, Entrance Test Scorecard, caste certificate (if applicable), gap certificate, Aadhar card or any Government-issued proof of identity, and a Transfer Certificate if graduation is already complete.
