The HSB MBA is the first MBA of its kind in the country, specialising in Product Management. This unique 2-year fully residential program is tailored for individuals with a STEM background and a demonstrated track record of 2 to 4 years in full-time industry roles.

People with degrees in Design, Media, Business, Commerce, and Economics, along with 2-4 years of full-time work experience, are welcome to apply. However, it’s important that they are comfortable with technology and have a basic understanding of SQL and Python before joining the program.

Q. Can I specialise in the General MBA track rather than Product Management?

A. No, currently, the flagship program only offers a specialisation in product management. However, the MBA is composed of three tracks:

  • The General Management Track
  • The Product Management Track
  • The Leadership Track

The General Management track provides high-quality learning at the level available at leading B-Schools, with over 400 academic hours across two years. Additionally, HSB’s MBA includes approximately 600 hours of Product, Technology, Design courses and a six-month full-time internship in a product-facing role.

A. You will study a total of 45 courses as part of your MBA.

Q. What is the program’s approach to experiential learning?

A. The program is designed to integrate experiential learning as a fundamental part of the curriculum. The leadership track (Think, Communicate, Lead) equips you with the soft skills needed to navigate and excel in the workplace. Learn-Apply-Build is a key unique selling point (USP) of the program, encouraging students to utilise the virtual lab and engage in practice-based learning.

A. Yes, the second year includes 6 months of dedicated internships in product-facing roles. This consists of 2 months at a large enterprise, followed by 4 months at a suitable, well-funded startup.

A. HSB Jaipur admission criteria to apply for HSB’s MBA program, applicants must have: A. A bachelor’s degree, preferably in a STEM field; a background in Design/Media/Business/Commerce/Economics is also welcome. B. Proficiency in SQL & Python before coming to campus. A. Yes, a standardised test score is mandatory for HSB Jaipur course admissions. HSB currently accepts CAT, XAT, GMAT, GRE, or the HSB Test. You can initiate the application without any of these scores; however, the application will only be considered complete for processing if it includes a valid test score. It is recommended to apply once you have a test score.

A. HSB Jaipur course admissions follow a two-part process: an online application followed by a personal interview (if shortlisted). In the online application, in addition to required documents, you will need to provide a Statement of Purpose and an updated resume.

A. No, you can save your application progress on the platform and finish it at your convenience. The application will be processed only once submitted. Keep in mind that once submitted, you won’t be able to edit it.

Q. I have worked in my family business for the past year; does that count as work experience?

A. Yes, full-time work experience in your family business is considered, provided you have non-family members who can serve as referees to verify your work.

Q. Do part-time work and internships count as work experience?

A. No, only full-time work experience is considered for your application. You can highlight part-time work or internships in your Statement of Purpose or resume, but they won’t be included in the work experience count.

Q. How do I add/change information if I have already submitted my application?

A. If you need to make changes to your application after submission, you can raise a query via the application dashboard. Specify the required change and provide the reason for it. The Admissions Committee will review your case and decide whether the request for the change can be accepted.
