Globsyn Business School (GBS) Kolkata offers several scholarships aimed at supporting students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds and those excelling in extracurricular activities. These scholarships are designed to ease the financial burden of postgraduate management education.

GBS Kolkata Scholarship Programs

1. Kalyani Scholarship

  • Number of Scholarships: 7

  • Coverage: 100% fee waiver (excluding admission fee)

  • Eligibility Criteria:

    • Class 10: ≥75%

    • Class 12: ≥75%

    • Graduation: ≥60%

    • Aptitude Exam (CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT): ≥80 percentile

    • Parental income ≤ ₹8,00,000 per annum

    • Maintain a CGPA of ≥6.0

    • Active participation in extracurricular activities

  • Application Process:

    • Submit the scholarship application form on the official website

    • Undergo an interview with the scholarship committee

    • Provide relevant documents (academic, income, identity proof)

    • Final approval by the Director

2. Outstanding Achievers Scholarship

  • Number of Scholarships: 6 (3 for Sports, 3 for Arts)

  • Coverage: ₹1,00,000 each

  • Eligibility Criteria:

    • Sports: Recognition from a state or national sports body

    • Arts: Recognition in areas like debate, dance, drama, etc. at state or national level

    • Parental income ≤ ₹8,00,000 per annum

    • Maintain a CGPA of ≥5.0

    • Active participation in extracurricular activities

  • Application Process:

    • Submit the scholarship application form on the official website

    • Undergo an interview with the scholarship committee

    • Provide relevant documents (academic, income, identity proof)

    • Final approval by the Director
