PLACEMENT REPORT FOR THE BATCH 2019-2021
Gitarattan International Business School, GIBS experienced another successful placement year for the MBA/BBA/BBA LLB Batch 2021.The Total strength of Placement Required was 336 out of which 279 students participated in the placement process. The season concluded with 245 Job offers from 80 companies successfully. Offers from various sectors like FMCG, Banking & Financing, Marketing & Sales, HR & Corporate Relationships, and Logistics & Supply Chain along with many more companies added to the Corporate Bank.
Analyzing GIBS competency in the BFSI sector reputed MNCs like EY India, Better.Com, Deloitte, XL Dynamics, Moody’s, MCUBE Financial, and Mansukh Securities along with Banks Like ICICI Bank, IDFC, HDFC Bank, YES Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank etc. offered jobs with managerial roles and handsome salaries. Lucrative offers were received from Research & Consultancy companies like Evalueserve, TCS, Wipro, Collabera Technologies, Gartner, Protivity, Zycus etc. Sales and Marketing profiles were offered by companies like, Naukri.com, Lenskart.com, ASSOCHAM, BYJU’s, Jaro Education, Regalo kitchen etc.
The highest package offered for this year was Rs.12.5 LPA with the average salary of 4.5 LPA.
Gitarattan International has a resourceful student-centric Industry-Institute Partnership Cell (IIPC). It brings corporate leaders and students on a common platform so that students are exposed to multiple opportunities in the professional world. They do so by arranging Pre-Placement Talks, Special Seminars, Guest Lectures Summer Internship Fair and Industrial Visits. A vast array of preeminent companies visits to campus in a search of best talent. Capability Enhancement& Soft Skill Development Courses, Innovative Teaching & Learning methods. Career Counseling and Personal Counseling has abetted students to refinement and thus helped in the growth of placements over the years. Gibs has spawned a large database of companies with whom the IIPC interacts regularly. IIPC at Gibs takes special care to provide placement assistance to all the students. Industrial Visit
The Institute recognizes the fact that Industrial Visits are important components for a student’s development. It supplements and enriches classroom learning and encourages new interests amongst students. Industrial visits bridge the gap between theoretical training and practical learning for the management students and provide an opportunity for active/interactive learning experiences in-class as well outside the classroom environment. Industrial Visit helps the students to learn about the various facets of corporate functioning. Considering the importance of Industrial Visits, the institute organizes at least two industrial visits for one batch during the course to achieve all-round development.
Summer Internship
Summer Internship forms an integral part of the development of students in their quest for placement. Summer Internship at Gitarattan International Business School is carried out as an exercise in “Integrated Learning” where students spend 6-8 weeks at the companies. The students undergo training, which is a simulation of a real work environment. It exposes them to technical skills and helps them to acquire social skills by drawing them into contact with real professionals. For proper coordination and ensuring organized and smooth conduct, each student is also be guided by the Faculty of the Institute.
Summer Internship: 2020-21
Summer Internship Program for 2021 Batch was successfully completed with certified recruiters like, HDFC Bank, Dabur India, Panasonic, ONGC, Tata Power, Nestle, IIFL ,Decathlon , Quick Ride , Learning Routes and many more. It is mandatory for students to participate in Summer Internship Program according to the Course Curriculum, which helps students to learn and gain practical experiences in their allocated Fields.
The Highest Internship stipend ascended to Rs.20, 000 for the batch 2021. After completion of 8 weeks Training Program, students were certified by their recruiters and appreciated for the same. Many students got Pre Placement offers (PPO) after completion of their Internship in allocated Companies.

From the reports of 2017 and 2018 placements, a significant difference is seen in sectors visiting GIBS for hiring students in corporate companies.
In 2017,
- Total students registered for placement were 350 out of which 294 students got placed which made placement rate of 2017- 84%.
- The average salary increased from 3.5 Lacs to 4.5 Lacs per annum.
- The highest salary reached up to 7 Lacs per annum.
In 2018,
- Total students registered for placement were 333 out of which 294 students got placed which made placement rate of 2018- 88.2%.
- The average salary remained 4.5 Lacs per annum.
- The highest salary increased from 7 Lacs per annum to 7.5 Lacs per annum.
