B Tech –
10+2 in Science with Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry / Biology / Biotechnology / Computer Science with a minimum of 45% (Aggregate) or 40% (Aggregate in case of SC /ST ) in Physics, Mathematics & Chemistry /Biology /Biotechnology /Computer Science.
B. Tech program admission based on merit JEE Main.

B.Tech. Lateral Entry – 
10% seats of the total sanctioned intake are for Lateral Entry for Diploma holders directly to the 3rd semester as per the BPUT guidelines.
Passed or appeared in 3 years Diploma Engineering Examination from State Council of Technical Education and Vocational Training (SCTE & VT), Odisha / from an AICTE approved Institute / from a recognized University as defined by UGC with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) in appropriate branch of Engineering / Technology.

M.Tech – 
M.Tech students admitted based on the GATE score.
B.Tech/B.E degree from a recognised university with CGPA 6.5 (10 point scale) or 60% marks in related discipline Or MCA with CGPA 6.5 or 60% marks in aggregate.
