FMS Delhi Scholarship 

Established in 1954, the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) at the University of Delhi stands out as one of the premier B-Schools in India. Renowned for its exceptional Return on Investment (RoI), FMS Delhi offers a range of scholarships, including the O. P. Jindal Engineering & Management (OPJEMS) Scholarship, Aditya Birla Scholarship, NTPC Scholarship, and Central Government Scholarship, specifically catering to SC/ST students.

FMS Delhi OPJEMS Scholarship

The O.P. Jindal Engineering & Management (OPJEMS) Scholarship is awarded annually to 100 students from 40-43 premier engineering and management institutions. Each management student selected for the scholarship receives INR 1,50,000. Below are some details of the scholarship.

OPJEMS Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

The top 10 performers from each management year will be selected to participate in the scholarship test. For first-year students, their entrance exam ranking will be considered by the college at the time of admission. Scholarships for second, third, and fourth-year students are awarded based on their academic performance from the previous year.

How to Apply for OPJEMS Scholarship?

  • To apply for the OPJEMS Scholarship Program, candidates can download the OPJEMS App.
  • Upon installing the application, candidates need to register themselves.
  • Subsequently, candidates should fill out the application form and submit it.

FMS Delhi Aditya Birla Scholarship

The Aditya Birla Scholarship provides coverage for a significant portion of academic fees and a portion of tuition fees for management students. Eligible students from FMS Delhi have the opportunity to apply for this scholarship. The top 20 students, based on their entrance exam ranking at the time of admission, are invited to apply through their institute’s dean.

Aditya Birla Scholarship Selection Procedure

Students eligible for the Aditya Birla Scholarship are required to complete the attached application form and submit it to the dean. The selection process for the Aditya Birla Scholarship is as follows:

  • Candidates will be evaluated based on the information provided in the application form.
  • Their overall achievements in academic and co-curricular excellence will be assessed to determine their eligibility for the next round.
  • Essays submitted by the candidates will then be reviewed by a panel to shortlist candidates for the final round.
  • Shortlisted students will be invited for an interview, where the top 16 students from the management field will be selected as Aditya Birla Scholars.

The interviews will be conducted by a distinguished panel of luminaries and academicians. Shortlisted candidates must bring all supporting documents such as certificates and mark sheets to the interview. The interviews will take place in Mumbai, and shortlisted candidates will be provided with accommodation, travel reimbursement, and a token allowance.

Aditya Birla Scholarship Renewal

  • The performance of scholars will be closely monitored annually for the renewal of the scholarship.
  • The administration of scholars will be managed by the Dean of FMS Delhi, with the scholarship amount being sent directly to the office via cheque.
  • Scholars will be assessed based on qualitative and quantitative parameters to evaluate their academic and leadership excellence.
  • This assessment will occur every year until the completion of the course.
  • For the evaluations, it is necessary for 60% of the assignments to receive a rating of 7 on a 9-point scale, and candidates must belong to the top 25% of the batch population.
