MBA Admission 2025 – Department of Management Studies, NIT Trichy

Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university.

• A minimum of 60% marks (6.5 CGPA) is required for General/OBC/EWS candidates.

• A minimum of 55% marks (6.0 CGPA) is required for SC/ST/PwD candidates.

• Final-year undergraduate students are eligible to apply provisionally.

• A valid CAT 2024 score is mandatory.

Selection Criteria:

1. Shortlisting based on CAT percentile.

2. Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) for shortlisted candidates (conducted online).

3. Final selection is based on the composite score of:

   • CAT score

   • GD/PI performance

   • Academic record

   • Work experience (if any)

Ph.D. Admission 2025 – Department of Management Studies, NIT Trichy

Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidates must have a Master’s degree in a relevant discipline.

• A minimum of 60% marks (6.5 CGPA) for General/OBC/EWS and 55% (6.0 CGPA) for SC/ST/PwD is required in both UG and PG.

• For full-time Ph.D. with scholarship (HTRA):

  • A valid national-level exam score such as UGC-NET JRF, CAT, GATE, etc., is required.

• For part-time or externally funded categories:

  • A national exam score is not mandatory.

  • However, the candidate must qualify through the institute-conducted written test.

Selection Criteria:

1. Submission of online application with all necessary documents.

2. Screening of eligible candidates.

3. Written test (only for certain categories or if no national score is available).

4. Personal Interview for shortlisted candidates.

5. Final selection is based on:

   • Written test performance (if applicable)

   • Interview

   • Academic credentials

   • Research aptitude
