BIM Trichy MBA Eligibility Criteria and Selection Process

Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidates must have completed Graduation or Post Graduation in any stream with a minimum of 50% marks.
• Candidates holding ACA / ACWA / ACS qualifications are also eligible to apply.
• Final year students can apply, but they must provide proof of passing graduation with a minimum of 50% marks by July 31st.

Selection Process:

The selection procedure consists of two stages:

Stage 1: Shortlisting based on CAT 2022 scores. The expected CAT cutoff for shortlisting is 87+. Stage 2: Personal Interview (PI) and Group Discussion (GD) for shortlisted candidates.

Candidates will be shortlisted for the second stage based on their CAT 2022 scores. PI & GD will be conducted in cities like Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Tiruchirappalli, depending on candidate availability.

Other components considered during the second stage include academic performance in 10th standard, 12th standard, qualifying degree, and relevant work experience. These components are verified and given weightage.

The final selection for the MBA program will be based on the candidate’s performance in all the above stages.

Note: Reservation criteria follow the rules of the Government of Tamil Nadu, with 18% for SC, 1% for ST, 30% for Backward Classes, and 20% for Most Backward Classes.

Application Process:

To apply for BIM Trichy MBA, follow these steps:

1. Visit the official website of BIM Trichy.
2. Click on the “Apply Now” tab.
3. Fill in the required academic, personal, and work experience details.
4. Upload scanned photographs, marksheets, certificates, and CAT score card with CAT registration number.
5. Make the payment of Rs. 2750/- (Rs. 950/- for SC/SCA/ST candidates) online. In the case of a Demand Draft (DD), it should be drawn in favor of ‘Bharathidasan Institute of Management’ payable at Tiruchirappalli. Enter the Demand Draft details while filling the form.
6. Submit the application form.
7. Print the application form and acknowledgment slip for future correspondence.

Documents Required:

• Attested copies of mark sheets from X- Std. to the last qualifying examination.
• Letter of admission to the course, indicating the duration and commencement, issued by the competent authority.
• Schedule of Expenses for the course (Fee Structure).
• Proof of permanent address (Driving License, Passport, or any other document issued by the state government, etc.).
• PAN Card Copy.
• Aadhaar Card.
• CAT score card 2022/ XAT 2023/ CMAT
