Amity University believes in providing equal opportunities to all students, irrespective of their qualifications. The university follows a comprehensive admission process that includes an entrance exam and an interview round for undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

Candidates who have achieved a qualifying examination score of more than 80% are exempted from the selection process and are eligible for fast track admission. For technical courses like B.Tech, B.Arch, MTech, and MBA, the university establishes cutoff criteria.

For admission to BTech courses, all candidates must clear the AMITY JEE entrance exam. They should have a minimum of 60% in their 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or Mathematics as the main subjects.

For admission to B.Arch, candidates need to have a minimum of 50% marks in 10+2 with 50% in PCM or a 10+3 Diploma with an aggregate of 50% in Mathematics, along with a qualified score in NATA or JEE Main (Paper 2) or UPSEE (Paper 3) of the current year.

Candidates will then undergo an English language test conducted by the university, followed by an interview round for final selection. For admission to MTech programs, candidates must hold a relevant degree in B.E./B.Tech./AMIE (ECE/E&T) with at least 60% marks or 10+2 with at least 60% marks.

For the Sponsored category, there is a relaxation of 5% in eligibility criteria. For MBA courses, applicants should have a graduation grade point average of 50% and a minimum score of MAT-500/GMAT-450/CMAT-100 or a percentile of 65 in CAT/XAT or a percentile of 50 in NMAT. They also need to pass an Amity written test conducted on the day of the interview.

In the case of the Sponsored category, a minimum of 50% in Graduation is required, along with a score of MAT-450/GMAT-400/CMAT-75 or a percentile in CAT/XAT of 55/NMAT of 40 percentile. Additionally, they need to clear an Amity Written Test conducted on the day of the interview.
