UPSC declares the merit for CDS I 2016 on November 8, 2016

On the basis of written  results of the Combined Defence Services Examination (I)-2016 (CDS) conducted by the Union Public Service Commission in February, 2016 and interviews held by the Services Selection Board of the Ministry of Defence, a merit list of 126 candidates has been declared by UPSC today, November 8, 2016. About 2.25 lakh candidates appear for the CDS exam which is conducted twice a year in 41 centers across  the country.

The candidature of all these candidates is, therefore, Provisional on this score. Marks of the candidates will be available on the website after declaration of final result of Officers’ Training Academy (OTA) for Combined Defence Services Examination (I)-2016.

  • Candidates are requested to forward their original certificates in support of Date of Birth/Educational qualification etc., certificates claimed by them, along with Photostat attested copies thereof to Army Headquarters/Naval Headquarters/Air Headquarters, as per their first choice.
  • In case, there is any change of address, the candidates are advised to promptly intimate directly to the Army Headquarters/Naval Headquarters/Air Headquarters.

CDS exam is conducted for admission to  Indian Military Academy, Dehradun; Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala and Air Force Academy, Hyderabad.
