The University of Calcutta, Department of Botany, wishes to appoint a Senior Research Fellow (SRF) for a major project titled ‘Assessment of the molecular mechanism behind the anticancer effect of two new triterpenes from mushrooms on hepatocellular carcinoma cell’, sanctioned by the Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of West Bengal. The Dept of Botany, University of Calcutta is to conduct a walk-in interview for this post on 16th April 2015 (11: 30 a.m.)

The details of the post are as follows:

Post – Senior Research Fellow (SRF)

Tenure – 3 years co-terminus with the project.

Qualification – Candidates must possess an M. Sc degree with two years research experience in any field of life science or M. Tech in Biotechnology.

Remuneration – Consolidated fellowship of Rs. 18,700 per month.
