An MBA at Altis Universita Cattolica offers students the unique opportunity to study in close contact with companies interested in doing business in their country of origin.
India is definitely one of the countries that Italian and European companies most frequently consider as a target for their internationalization processes, both in terms of de-localization of operations and as an end-market. Hadnt we had our Indian subsidiary, during these years of crisis, our company would probably not have survived, so spoke one of the numerous industry testimonials that contributed to the MBA Global Business and Society Linking Fast Growing Economies and Europe.
Thats why ALTIS offers this innovative MBA program, aimed at bridging Italy and Europe to India and the fast growing economies. The MBA is conceived to give students a unique opportunity to develop managerial skills and to build business relations with Italian companies that, in turn, can find top level human assets in the participants. Our MBA is becoming more and more a point of reference for many Italian companies and Italy-based multinationals that have or plan to start internationalization processes of their operations. In our students, companies can find highly skilled profiles coming from countries that sometimes are difficult to cover even for head-hunters, states Professor Mario Molteni, Director of ALTIS.
The MBA Global Business and Society Linking Fast Growing Economies and Europe, held in Milan, the heart of the Italian financial, fashion and industrial world is a one-year full-time MBA program and will start its next edition in September 2011, while applications deadline is May 31.
Classes (9 months) cover typical MBA topics, with special focus on internationalization processes towards fast-growing and emerging countries and corporate and environmental sustainability issues (CSR).
The last three months will be dedicated to a student-tailored Action Project (an internship or consultancy paper or the development of a business plan for the participants own entrepreneurial initiative).
An international faculty made up of both academic representatives and top level professionals gives both a theoretic and practical approach to lessons, to which dozens of industry testimonials add further value.
And the mix of participants is also global: over 30 nationalities have been represented so far in class, a melting pot of cultures, religions, backgrounds to provide a truly unique human experience.
The sustainable development vision of the MBA is reflected also in the tuition fee, which allows applicants from emerging countries to access a top quality MBA program at an affordable price.
Scholarships are available to meritorious candidates, among which are two full scholarships (tuition and accommodation) granted by an Italian Punjabi Association to Indians of Punjabi origin

In terms of the course content, the program can be compared with any top executive MBA program in Europe but in my view, the strongest point of this course was the diversity of the students which gives us a great opportunity to connect, explore and use the contacts established through the program.
