SSC JE exam 2019 Paper 1 online exam was conducted from 23rd September 2019 to 27th September 2019. Based on the difficulty level of questions, the cut-off marks of SSC JE paper 1 2019 cut-off has been estimated for all the three domains- namely Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Civil and Structural Engineering.

SSC conducted the JE paper 1 for the recruitment of Junior Engineer Group B posts in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Quantity Surveying, and Contract domain.

SSC JE Paper 1 was an objective exam which was conducted in online mode. The exam comprised 3 sections having 200 questions of total of 200 marks. There was negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in the SSC JE Paper 1 exam. The duration of the SSC JE Paper 1 exam was 2 hours. Minimum qualifying marks for SSC JE Paper 1 2019 exam:

Questions asked in the exam were from moderate to difficult levels. The marks of SSC JE Paper 1 will be considered in the final merit list.

SSC JE Paper 2 exam 2019:

Paper 2 of SSC JE 2019 will be an offline exam consisting of 300 marks for which 2 hours will be given to each candidate. It is a subjective paper and should be answered in a descriptive manner. There is no negative marking and the marks will be given based on the writing skill of the candidate.
