The Staff Selection Commission (SSC), Northern Region has cancelled five exam centers where the Tier 2 of Combined Graduate Level Exam (CGL) was to be held today, November 1, 2016. SSC (NR), in a notification uploaded on its website, has stated technical glitches as a reason for cancellation of the exam. The dates of re-exam will be declared later on the regional website http://www.sscnr.net/. The centers at which the exam has been cancelled are as follows:

  • JIMS Engineering Management Technical Campus, 48/4 Knowledge Park -III, Greater Noida
  • Ideal Institute of Technology, Ideal Knowledge Park, Govindpuram, near Gaur Homes, Ghaziabad
  • International College of Engineering (i.c.e), New Educational Hub, Gang Nahar road, Didoli, Murad nagar, near Brij      Vihar colony, Ghaziabad
  • Vivekanand Institute of  Technology & Science, Delhi-Hapur road, NH-24, Jindal nagar, 33 -34 km,  Ghaziabad
  • Anand International College of Engineering, near Kanota, Agra road, opp Shahid Pulia, Jaipur, Rajasthan

There was widespread mismanagement reported at exam centers across the country where SSC conducted CGL Tier 2 exams yesterday, November 30, 2016. Candidates complained especially about Paper I – Quantitative Aptitutde.
