Staff Selection Commission has issued the notice regarding the age criteria of the candidates for SSC CGL 2015 Exam. The Government has received representations, to allow the candidates who fulfill the age criteria as on 01.01.2015 from large number candidates.

As all of you know, SSC has
issued the notification for CGL 2015 exam, the date of calculation of age for
the purpose of determining eligibility has been specified as 1st August, 2015
as per the DoP&T’s instructions.
In this regard, a proposal to
allow the candidates who fulfil the age criteria as on 01.01.2015 to also apply
for the posts as a onetime measure, is under the consideration.
