The entire batch was placed in a matter of 6 hours with an average salary of 8.7 Lakhs and median salary of 8 Lakhs. The students never had it better in terms of choice with as high as 1.45 offers per student.

International Recruitment –

One of the major breakthroughs for this year was the participation of new international recruiters – Sony Gulf and Kaybee Group. Olam International continued their relationship with SIBM displaying their confidence in the students and the institute. In all 6 offers were made, the highest offer of $85,000 being made by Olam International.

PPO’s and PPI’s
A total of 25 offers were made by various companies in the form of PPO’s and PPI’s. This number goes on to prove that the students of SIBM have been appreciated by the stalwarts of the industry viz. ITC Ltd., GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare , Marico , Dabur, Cadbury, Goldman Sachs and Coca-Cola to name a few.

Laterals
If the lateral offers made this year are anything to go by, it asserted the fact that SIBM is considered as not only a training ground for entry-level jobs but also for middle-level management.

In all 16 companies made 43 offers with the number of offers per student standing at 1.65.The highest offer stood at Rs.10.5 Lakhs p.a. by Dell International. IT & ITES sector made the highest number of offers with the largest recruiter in terms of offers made being Wipro- 8 closely followed by Covansys- 7 and HP – 5.

Freshers
The recruitment process spelt success and choice for the freshers as well. 63 companies made 148 offers making leading to an average of 1.5 offers per student.
The highest international offer was made by Olam International of $85,000 whereas the highest domestic offer stood at Rs. 10.12 Lakhs by J P Morgan Chase. IT & ITES and BFS were the sectors that made the highest number of offers. The other breakthrough this year was the number of new recruiters that visited the campus this included Morgan Stanley Advantage Services, HSBC Bank, Citifinancial, United Spirits, Goodyear, Reliance Industries(Retail), Bharti Airtel, Television Eighteen India Ltd., to name a few.

In all continuing with its tradition of breaking records this year was no different with benchmarks being raised to unprecedented heights.
