Saraswat Cooperative Bank Limited had invited applications for Junior Officer (JO) vacancies in states like New Delhi, Gujarat, Karnataka, Goa, Maharashtra, and Madhya Pradesh. The application process started from May 23, 2018, and it went on till June 04, 2018. The eligible and interested candidates have applied for the exam and appeared for the same. The exam pattern for the Saraswat Bank JO post is as follows:

The questions for the exam will be available in English Language only. There will be separate time duration for each section in the Saraswat Bank JO examination. There will be a penalty of 1/ 4 marks for each wrong answer. So the candidates must choose the answers carefully from the given options.

The results for the exam will be announced on the official website of Saraswat Bank. It will be available in the PDF format. The result will contain the Name and Roll number of the candidates who have qualified in the written exam. The candidates who have been qualified in the written examination will be called for the interview process.

In order for the candidates to get qualified in the written examination, the candidates must secure a minimum cutoff mark which will be fixed by the Commission itself. The cutoff marks will be announced on the website of the Bank after the announcement of the result. The cut off marks will vary for each category and also for each year. The candidates must fulfill both the aggregate and section wise cutoff marks.

There are some factors that will affect the cutoff each year. They are as follows:

  • Number of candidates appeared for the exam
  • The difficulty level of the examination
  • Number of vacancies available the respective year
  • Number of backlog vacancies present
  • Previous year cutoff trends, etc

After the interview process, the merit list containing the shortlisted candidates will be prepared by the authority and will be published on the official website. The candidates whose names have appeared in the merit list will be recruited. Those candidates must submit the necessary documents required for the document verification process and then they will be recruited for the post.
