The Public Service Commission, West Bengal has invited applications from interested candidates for the Public Prosecutor Recruitment Examination 2015. The examination will be held in two stages – (i) written examination and (ii) personality test. The written examination will be held in Kolkata, approximately in July 2015, and subsequently, short listed candidates will be summoned for the personality test. Essential Qualification
Interested candidates must possess a degree in Law from a recognised university and must have experience of at least 3 years continuous practice as a lawyer. He/She must be either an Advocate or a Barrister – at – Law.
Age limit
Candidates must be between 25 to 35 years of age. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years and 3 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST and BC categories.
Remuneration
Pay scale Rs. 15,600 – 42,000 per month + GP Rs. 5,400 + other allowances as permissible.
