The Odisha Subordinate Staff Selection Commission notified about the recruitment for the post of Excise Constable during the starting of this year. The candidates who are willing and eligible to join as an Excise Constable where asked to fill in an online application form.
The selection process for the Excise Constable post are as follows:
- Physical Endurance Test
- Physical Standard Measurement
- Written Examination.
After all the candidates submitted the online application form, the Odisha Subordinate Staff Selection Commission short listed the application of the eligible candidates and for those candidates Physical Standard Measurement and Physical Endurance Test was done. Both the Physical Standard Measurement and the Physical Endurance Test was conducted from January 18, 2019 to January 31, 2019.
The activities done for the Physical Endurance Test are done differently for male and female candidates. For the male candidates 100-meter race, 1.6 km race, high Jump, Long Jump and shot put were conducted and for the female candidate 100-meter race, high jump and long jump were conducted.
The PSM AND PET results are declared by the Odisha Subordinate Staff Selection Commission and the candidates can view the result by following these steps.
- The candidate should go to the official website of the OSSSC, osssc.gov.in.
- There the candidates will find a section called Recruitment and should click on the link “PSM/PET RESULT”.
- A new page will open and the candidates can check if their roll number is there in that list.
