The Odisha Mining Corporation Limited (OMCL) based in Bhubaneshwar, is a Government of India and Government of Odisha join venture which aims to make effective and judicious utilization of the state’s mineral resources. OMCL is the Gold Category belonging to the largest Public Sector Undertaking in a state in the mining sector of India. It was established in 1956 and has been running successfully ever since.
In a recently published notification by the Odisha Mining Corporation Limited (OMCL), it has mentioned the availability of several vacancies in the organization for which they are inviting applications from interested candidates. The candidates who are interested in the posts may have a look at the official notification, check the eligibility criteria and then apply. There is however, no online application portal or link. Applications are to be sent directly, by speed post or courier, addressed to the General Manager (P&A). The deadline for all applications is the 31st of October 2019.

The interested candidates must send in their applications by downloading and filling up the application format available on the website properly and carefully.
The candidates must also paste a coloured passport size photograph on the form and attach all relevant and important documents that have been asked for. Failure to do so will lead to disqualification immediately. Another mandatory thing to attach with the form is a one page write up on ‘Why I consider myself suitable for the role’ along with a statement of purpose. OMCL is recruiting for the posts of General Manager, Deputy General Manager, Senior Manager and Manager. The candidates who are interested may carefully go through the eligibility requirements which include the age limit till which one can apply, the experience and the educational qualifications that one is expected to possess. The age limit for all the 4 posts combined is between 36 years and 55 years. All candidates must have a basic qualification of BE/B.Tech in Mining Engineering with first class in MMCC.

A total of 15 vacancies need to be filled in of which, there is 1 post for General Manager, 4 for Manger, 5 for Deputy Manager and 5 for Senior Manager.
