Needless to say but many of you can relate this post to the one you posted somewhere back in time. This is 1 inevitable question aspirants would like to keep on asking keeping in view the strict admission procedure followed by the top notch business schools.
Now the question is if these purane paap should be given a role in deciding who should enter the holy gates of a prestigious B-school or not.
Upon thinking, i felt that yes there should be a significant role of past records in the selection procedure. The reason being, past records is a mirror image of one’s consistency, never ending perseverance and dedication which was reflected when one was a kid or a high school student and even now when one is not.
Your past accomplishments requires life long rewards the value of which is much more than a play station and a Karizma for scoring 90% in 10th and 12th resp. I mean these gifts are here today and gone tomorrow but the real reward is beyond these materialistic, ephemeral one’s. Why shouldn’t they be bestowed with what they really deserve.
Nobody burned the midnight oil for a mere gaming console but to secure a good future and they should be given an extra edge for this diligent effort.
Of-course this shouldn’t be the only parameter to judge a candidate but this can not be ignored completely. In my views it will bring injustice to someone who poured painstaking efforts to rise and shine.
For all those whose puane paap are haunting in moving forward, chillax(as I say) and stop crying over spilt milk. Lets run an extra mile actually 2 because with good acads you already gave them a head-start of a mile.Amaze the interviewer with that extra mile actually 2 that you ran during the course of your preparation and get ready to enter the gates of your dream B-school.
I will end with these 2 lines which always gives me strength in all situations :

PS : My own acads hovers around 70’s so yes, no biasing from my end
