Hi, I am Aditi Manchanda.

I did Computer Science (Hons.) from Hansraj College, Delhi University. Before joining the PGDM programme at FORE School of Management, I worked with an IT firm where I sold ERP solutions to schools and colleges.

In spite of being a student of computer science, a part in me always wanted to pursue a sales profile. That’s why I took up the job soon after graduation. While working I realised there were many things about the sales process that I did not know. In order to gain a holistic perspective on the entire business development cycle, I thought of joining FORE School of Management.

For summer internship, I worked with Gartner as a sales development executive. The focus being SMB organisations, my primary role involved getting meetings with CEOs, CMOs, and MDs of these organisations. The stint with Gartner differs from my previous experience in that here I was contacting top decision makers at businesses with turnover of 2000 crores. I was directly getting in touch with CEOs and MDs of organisations and creating an impact on Gartner’s bottom and top lines.

The best part about my internship was that I got to influence the decisions of business leaders across industries – perhaps not possible in another organisation.
