Preey Shah, an IIT aspirant from Andheri, Mumbai, has scored 330 marks out of 360 in JEE Mains 2016. His aim to secure a seat in the Computer Science and Engineering branch at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IIT-B) may just be fulfilled. Shah is likely to be this year’s topper from Maharashtra.

When PaGaLGuY spoke to Shah about his JEE journey, he said, “Right from the start, my focus has been on JEE Advanced. It was only three weeks before the Mains offline paper that I started focusing on it. I started my preparation from Class 9 and my target has always been to get into an IIT.”

He joined PACE Junior College in Mumbai.

Shah had also won the Bronze medal at the Asian Physics Olympiad, China, in 2015, the Silver medal in International Junior Science Olympiad, Pune, in 2013 and a scholarship through the National Talent Search Exam in 2012.
