Madhya Pradesh State Open School (MPSOS) Exam Timetable

The Madhya Pradesh State Open School (MPSOS), Bhopal has published the schedule for the board examination of classes 10 and 12 which is to be conducted in December, later this year. This year the schedule has been published 3 months prior to the examination which is quite early as compared to the usual time of publication. The time table with the date and timings is available online on the official website of MPSOS, which is mpsos.nic.in.

The Madhya Pradesh State Open School is a body which works to educate children on different levels within the state of MP. They conduct these examinations twice a year- firstly in June and the then in December. Last year, the MPSOS had released the exam schedule on the 3rd of November which implies that this year’s early notification gives the students a lot of time to strategically prepare for their exams keeping in mind the order of the subjects and their dates.

Given below is a series of steps that students appearing for the December examination may undertake in order to access the schedule for the same-

  • Step 1- Log on to the official website of MPSOS, which is mpsos.nic.in.
  • Step 2- On the right-hand side of the home page, you shall find a link which says ‘MP OPEN EXAM DECEMBER 2019 TIME TABLE’. Click on this link.
  • Step 3- A pdf containing the time tables of both class 10 and 12 appears.
  • Step 4- Make careful note of your dates and subjects and download the pdf for avoiding confusion in future. It is also advisable to get the time table printed and keep a hard copy for reference.

As per the new time table, the class 10 examinations will take place between the 2nd of December and 12th of December this year with Mathematics being the first exam (subject code 211). While checking the time table, it is advisable to check the subjects as well as the subject codes. For class 12, the examination dates are 2nd December to 13th December 2019 with English (subject code 302) and Sanskrit (subject code 309) on the first exam day.

The timings for the examination are the same for both the classes- 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm. The practical exams of the students present and past, both, shall take place at the allotted examination centres itself. The admit card shall also be available soon with due notification to the students. Students who had registered between September 2018 and October 2019 only are eligible to sit for the December 2019 examination.
