Since its establishment in 1964, the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, has been dedicated to providing students with the best academic syllabi and academic exposure. The institute has cemented its position as one of the premier educational institutes in India. In 2005, Pragyan, the international techno-managerial organisation of NIT Trichy, was established with the aim of providing a platform for students to showcase their technical ingenuity and prowess. Pragyan has come a long way since its inception, achieving ISO 20121:2012 Certification for Sustainable Event Management, an honour shared by only three organisations, including the London Olympics and Manchester United. Pragyan is the only student-run organisation among the three.

The previous year’s edition of Pragyan, Nexus, witnessed the potential of human connection with technology. This edition featured competitive events, guest lectures, infotainment shows, and informative workshops. This year’s Pragyan, with the theme of Cyberscape, promises to be even more exciting, with a fusion of humanity and technology in a futuristic display of brilliance.

Pragyan has a long-standing reputation as the premier techno-managerial fest of India, offering exciting opportunities to technology and management enthusiasts. The annual Sangam Hardware Hackathon and the Ingenium exhibition were announced, along with an exclusive set of events called Inhotts, to integrate young students into the multiverse of technological innovation. Pragyan has remained steadfast in its dream to expose students to the world of technology from a young age, with initiatives like Young Techie 3.0 and Techids.

Pragyan ’23, which is scheduled to be held from 23rd to 26th March, promises to be an exciting event with events such as Jalyan, Quad Combat, and RoboWars. Furthermore, event clusters of the likes of Concreate, ByteHoc, and Manigma are conceived to cater to everyone’s interests. Pragyan has partnered with EPR Magazine to add an extra spark to the Conception cluster. Pragyan ’23 is an event to be noticed by everyone who wants to celebrate technology and enjoy the festivities at NIT Trichy.
