IMI has sixteen
functional and non-functional student driven clubs that ensure that all the
students are engaged throughout the year, by conducting a multitude of
technical as well as non-technical events. The major flagship events are
Conventus and Kritva. Conventus is the annual management conclave, which acts
as the interface between the industry and the college. Speakers from various
industries are invited for panel discussions on current issues by the eight
functional clubs. This year’s theme was – “Sustenance and growth in the VUCA
times – The road ahead for corporate India”. Many eminent speakers from the
industry took part in each of the panel discussions, offering general as well
as industry specific inputs, making the discussions engaging and fruitful.
Kritva is the cultural and management fest of IMI, spread across three days. Many
events are conducted ranging from case study competitions and management
quizzes to street plays and dances. Kritva time is the most vibrant time of the
year. The college is filled with colour and there is an air of effervescence
all around. This year it is to be held on the 17th, 18th
and 19th of October. All the events are student driven. Major
decisions and responsibility are taken by the students themselves.

Even on regular
days, one is never idle. There is always something to do. Some club activities,
project submissions, surprise quizzes and presentations are a part and parcel
of life. Life moves at lightning speed and one is expected to keep up pace. But
it’s not all work and no play. Come evening, one can see students chilling out
near the amphitheater. The amphitheater is the most happening place in the
campus. The “amphi” as it is known as in IMI-lingo is synonymous with fun,
relaxation and frolic. Club meetings, competitions, street plays, dances etc…
are conducted in this area. Another place for students to relax after a long
day is the famous Sonu dhaba, located just outside the campus. Delicious
paranthas, cold drinks, burgers and name what you may, you’ll find it here!.
