Jawaharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical Examination and Research (JIPMER), Pondicherry has declared the result of MD/MS (Doctor of Medicine/Master of Surgery) course today. For the 102 seats (92 Indian and 10 government sponsored and foreign national candidates), the JIPMER merit list has shortlisted approx. 13000 candidates based on their performance in the examination conducted on December 11 in 17 cities across the country.
These candidates will be able to attend the counselling rounds beginning from December 21. Darshan C, with 99.996 percentile has secured the first rank in the examination.
210 General, 280 OBC, 150 SC, 80 ST, 100 Institute candidates, 09 Physically handicapped and 44 sponsored candidates have been called for the first counselling. Candidates can download their results by logging in the official website and click on the active link of ‘Overall Merit List of MD/MS course’.
