JEE Mains 2017 Exam centre revived in Kota

Amidst growing demand in Kota, the JEE Mains 2017 Examination center was revived in Kota today. A few days ago, we reported that the Central Board of Secondary (CBSE) did not allot a single JEE Main examination centre to the coaching capital for 2017, without citing any reasons.

Reacting on the revival of the JEE Mains Examination centre in Kota, Member of Parliament from Kota, Om Birla expressed pleasure and gratitude towards Union Minister of HRD, Prakash Javdekar on accepting the demand. Om Birla had met with the HRD Minister on Monday (December 5) over the exclusion of Kota from the list of JEE Mains 2017 conducting cities.

While the JEE Mains online form was showing options of only 5 cities of Rajasthan at the time of launch of online form last week, Kota’s name was included today. The JEE Mains 2017 will be held on April 2, 2017 in Offline mode and on April 8 and 9 in Online mode.

JEE Mains aspirants in Kota welcomed the move of inclusion of Kota in JEE Mains 2017 exam centres list. An aspirant said that Kota’s inclusion would certainly help aspirants like her in taking examination in Kota itself and will not have to waste time in travelling down to other cities having exam centre. The last date of filling JEE Mains 2017 forms is January 2, 2017.

Director of Allen Career Institute, Brajesh Maheshwari stated that the exclusion of Kota’s name from list of JEE Mains 2017 examination centers list was unfortunate but Kota’s revival as JEE Mains 2017 examination would be relief for the aspirants preparing in Kota.
